Zachary Baker, DO
Dr. Zac Baker was born and raised in a small town in northern Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan for undergrad, and fall Saturdays have
been tumultuous ever since. He then went to medical school at Michigan State where he met his now wife (HEPA employee), Dr. Amber Cibrario. He completed his residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital, and he believes that Detroit may be the most underrated city in the country.
After residency, Dr. Baker did a short stint of travel medicine while the military relocated Dr. Cibrario to San Antonio. He has worked for a small, physician-owned group in San Antonio at a few community hospitals and a couple of stand-alone ERs. He greatly enjoys cooking (mostly pizzas, bread,
and all Mediterranean), cocktail making, Islay Scotch, all water activities, outdoor adventures, travel, and exercise. Dr. Baker has worked shifts at Hilo Medical Center, Hale Ho’ola Hamakua and enjoys working at the other Big Island hospitals.
