Tom Forney grew up in Georgia where he developed a love for the ocean that brought him to San Diego for University. He continued his westward migration after completing residency at Loma Linda University and joined HEPA in 2008. He has had multiple administrative roles over the years including ED Director and Chief Medical Officer. He’s currently serving as Vice President-Quality.

When not working, he’ll be found surfing, sailing, or playing with his 2 boys at the beach. Oh, and cheering on his wife who spends so much time in the water, she
is part-mermaid!
