Teresa Dunphy, DO
Dr. Teresa Dunphy was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She attended the George Washington University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological
Anthropology. After working as an Emergency Medical Technician in the DC and Maryland region, she attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Dunphy completed her emergency medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she served as a chief resident.
Teresa has happily moved to Hilo with her husband, along with their dog, Tiramisu, and cat, Dan Dan Noodle. She has recently worked at Hilo Medical Center and Ka’u Hospital. She enjoys gardening, hiking, kayaking, and reading.
