Russell Hill, MD
Dr. Russell Hill was born in New Orleans LA and attended his first Mardi Gras as a two-week old infant. Ever since he has been letting the good times roll. He was raised moving back and forth between suburbs of New Orleans and Houston TX. He interspersed traditional undergrad studies at Brigham Young University with a service mission to New York City and an anthropology field study in rural Guatemala. He then attended medical school in San Antonio TX, followed by residency training in Corpus Christi TX. After completing training, he has worked for seven years at a variety of tertiary and rural hospitals in the southern Appalachians of northeast Tennessee.
His greatest joy is sharing a love of culture, adventure, and outdoor exploration with his wife Kim and the four amazing souls they are raising. Russell fully embraces the aloha spirit with his family as they soak in the goodness and natural beauty of the Hawaiian islands. He spends his free time outside and in particular loves trail running. He enjoys quality time scuba diving, fishing, and surfing.
Russell is always grateful to embark on new adventures experiencing the unparalleled diversity among the people and places of the Big Island.
