Delaney Ross, DMS PA-C
Dr. Delaney Ross is a board certified physician assistant who was born and raised in Reno, NV and spent all of her free time as a child on the island of Maui. She has held a lifelong love for the community and culture of Hawai‘i. She completed her undergraduate degree in Arabic and philosophy at Durham University in the UK. She then completed a master’s degree in Political Communication in Washington D.C., after which she stayed in the capital and worked as a journalist for eight years before deciding she wanted to prioritize having a more hands-on impact on her community and making the transition into healthcare.
After working as an ED tech in a trauma center in Connecticut, which sparked her passion for emergency medicine, Delaney obtained her PA degree and doctorate of medical science from Shenandoah University in Virginia. Her doctoral research included addressing health disparities among the Native Hawaiian population and understanding how the PA scope of practice can better serve patients. Delaney’s family now lives on Hawai‘i Island and this, coupled with her childhood connection to Maui, made her eager to return to the islands after finishing PA school.
Outside of work, Delaney and her husband love to spend time in and on the water diving, surfing, paddleboarding or swimming with their two German Shepherds.
