Christopher Rehrer, PA-C
Chris was born and raised in Southern California. He moved to Oahu in 2005 to work with various non-profit organizations. He spent a decade volunteering in underserved regions of Hawaii and with refugees in developing communities throughout Asia, North Africa and the Middle East. In 2014 while helping a friend make a documentary for a hospital in rural India, he was inspired by Indian physicians to return to school to study medicine and help others in need. He went to PA school at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. After graduating in 2018 he returned with his wife, who is a women’s health physical therapist, to Oahu. He joined HEPA in 2019 and enjoyed working at Wahiawa General Hospital until its closure in 2024. His family continues to call Wahiawa home. When he is not working, he can be found enjoying the nature of Hawaii whether it be spearfishing, surfing with his wife (Sierra), son (Jack) or beach adventuring with his daughter (Arlo). He also still enjoys international volunteer trips with family. One of their family dreams is to establish a holistic and accessible farm/retreat/therapy center here in Hawaii for families with children who have special needs/disabilities, to come vacation, receive therapy, surf, adventure and cultivate lifelong bonds with one another.
